Intelligent Construction is the main direction for building "China Construction," and the demand for professional technical talents in the Intelligent Construction field is increasingly strong.

The Intelligent Construction Major belongs to the first-level discipline of Civil Engineering, which integrates advanced technologies such as mathematics, artificial intelligence, new materials, 3D printing, robotics, smart sensing, big data, Internet of Things, and virtual reality with the construction industry, covering the entire lifecycle of architecture and infrastructure planning, surveying, design, production, construction, operation, maintenance, demolition, and reuse, creating a green, environmentally friendly, intelligent, and low-carbon living and working environment for humanity. This major meets the strategic needs of the country and the socio-economic development of local areas, adheres to the school's principles of "people-oriented, moral education first, ability-focused, and all-round development," and cultivates well-rounded individuals with moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic, and labor education, who are adaptable to the digitalization, networking, and intelligence of the construction industry, proficient in the basic theories, professional knowledge, and basic skills of Intelligent Construction, artificial intelligence, automation control, mechanical engineering, and big data, with broad professional knowledge, outstanding practical skills, and deep scientific and humanistic qualities.
